While driving around town, a man saw our MERCURY ERRANDS vehicle and gave us a call, wanting us to fulfill what he described as “an unusual request.” He asked us to shop for him at Costco to purchase 20 cases of bottled water and to deliver them to his third-floor apartment located in a no-elevator building!

We took the job and went off to our local Costco where we purchased 20 cases of water, with each case containing 40 bottles and each bottle weighing 16.9 ounces. That meant that each case weighed a little over 40 pounds. At 20 cases, that’s a bit under half a ton to haul up three flights of stairs. Yikes!

Not to be daunted by the task, however, MERCURY ERRANDS climbed those three flights — two steps at a time — one case at a time and delivered those 20 cases weighing about 40 pounds each — all within 45 minutes. Now, this was one job that we could genuinely call — breathtaking. 🙂

And our client was so pleased that he has hired us for the same job — twice more so far. 🙂
