MERCURY ERRANDS received a call to pick up 100 rental chairs for an outdoor wedding celebration scheduled for the next day. Somehow, the chair delivery had been overlooked. We assured the worried brother of the bride that we could make the delivery by the end of the day.
After picking up the rental chairs at around 4:30 pm, we began the one-hour drive to the wedding site, which included a 7-mile trek up a mountain dirt road. Unfortunately, by the time the driver reached the dirt road, it was raining heavily, and the going was slow due to a deeply rutted, muddy road. In addition to these challenges, the visibility was very low. Fortunately, our 4-Wheel drive cargo van was up to the task. 🙂
As the rain turned to a sprinkle, MERCURY ERRANDS arrived at the wedding site with the 100 rented chairs. The next day, the sun came out, providing for a beautiful setting for the wedding day festivities. And little did the guests know that without the help of MERCURY ERRANDS, the day’s wedding celebration just might have been a standing-room-only event.
