MERCURY ERRANDS will often exert Herculean effort to accomplish a task for our clients. Take this tale as an example.

Not too long ago, one of our drivers, all 135 pounds of him, had the feat of delivering a boxed 225-pound dresser to a rural gated community. Even though the owner was away and there was no neighbor in sight, our driver was undaunted. He moved ahead, employing time tested moving aids, such as a cart, then sliders, and then blankets to unload the dresser and get it into the house. First Herculean labor accomplished!

The second labor was to get the dresser down a flight of stairs. First, he slid it across the entry way floor to a position at the top of the stairs, and relying on the law of gravity, he slowly and carefully eased the dresser step-by-step down the flight of stairs. Second Herculean labor accomplished!

Then, as his final labor, our driver slid the unboxed dresser into its final location in the bedroom…still in its perfect condition, no damage at all. And our 135-pound hero? He came away unscathed too. 🙂 Third Herculean labor accomplished.
