The following is a brief tale about a ‘legal’ brief being delivered within a very brief period of time. 🙂

Our story unfolds on a beautiful Friday afternoon at about 12:30pm. MERCURY ERRANDS received a call from a Bozeman attorney with the request to deliver a legal brief to the Montana Supreme Court Clerk’s office by 5:00pm that day. The brief was destined for Helena, Montana, which is about 100 miles from Bozeman, and takes roughly an hour and 45 minutes by car. That left us about four and a half hours of delivery time. “No problem,” we thought, “plenty of time.”

But wait! The client’s brief was still at the print shop being printed — and there was no determined completion time. MERCURY ERRANDS was asked to remain on-call.

Two and a half hours later, at 3:00pm, our driver finally received the printed legal brief that was to be delivered to Helena by 5:00pm! His task was to maneuver his way through rush hour traffic on a Friday afternoon. A trip to Helena could be projected to be anything but brief during that time of day. However, kudos to our stellar driver! That legal brief ended up being delivered to the court clerk just in the nick of time — 4:50pm to be precise – with 10 minutes to spare! Whew!

Our attorney client was so appreciative of the outstanding, reliable service rendered by MERCURY ERRANDS under such tight constraints.  Another job well done!
